Academia Uruguay has many years of experience organizing and receiving groups in Montevideo. All include Spanish classes, but range from a group of teenagers trying to get a feel for uruguayan culture to a group of university students interested in meeting with International Organizations. We have returning student groups mostly during the summer and spring breaks. Students usually take Spanish classes in the mornings and do recreational, social or volunteer activities in the afternoons or even visit companies. These programs can range from:

Universities and colleges – Faculty-led education
Developing and directing a successful educational experience abroad requires dedicated work from both parties. Academia Uruguay offers faculty-led education programs throughout the year. The purpose of such programs is to create meaningful and relevant international training for students that cannot be acquired on campus. Thus, our goal is to complement the various curricula students follow at their home universities with life-changing international study experiences. Whatever your field of study may be, the knowledge and experience the students gain during our immersion program will prove beneficial. Transfer of university credits is always available.
Spanish for Families
With almost 10 years of experience in teaching Spanish as a second language to students and adults from all over the world, we are pleased to offer courses for families, too. Various reasons may lead you and your family to come to Montevideo and our personalized approach assures the best fit to your schedule and needs. We can arrange Spanish classes for the whole family.
